NOTES: 1920 - Texas-OU would not be played in 1920 and 1921 because of an MVC rule against playing non-league opponents at neutral sites. 1928 - OU joined the Big Six Conference. The new conference dropped the non-league opponent policy and Texas and OU agreed to meet in Dallas in 1929 as part of the Texas State Fair, signing a 10 year deal. The rest, as they say, is history. 1929 - Another tradition begins - Commerce Street revelry on Texas-Ou Eve!
